Police appeal for missing Marian boy

Police are asking for urgent public assistance to locate a 14-year-old boy who went missing from Marian over the weekend.

The boy (pictured) was last seen early on Saturday afternoon and police say inquiries with friends indicate that he may be attempting to travel to the Rockhampton area.

“Police and family have serious concerns for the boy as his behaviour is out of character,” Queensland Police said in a statement.

The boy is described as 165cm in height, fair complexion with freckles, brown eyes and short, unkempt, brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a black ‘deadly choice’ hoodie with red striped Nike runners and a blue and white cap.

Police are urging the boy, or anyone with information, to contact them immediately.
