Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing 13-year-old girl.
The girl, named Ayla (pictured), was last seen at a home in Treestone Walk in Westmeadows on Wednesday at around 1pm.
“Police are concerned for Ayla’s welfare due to her age and her disappearance is out of character,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“It is believed Ayla may have attended a residence in Kensington and may be headed to Collingwood.”
Police have released an image of Ayla in the hope someone recognises her and provides information on her current whereabouts.
Ayla is described as about 140cm tall, with long brown hair with highlights and has brown eyes.
