Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance following a traffic crash in Buderim on July 25th that saw an elderly woman hospitalised with leg injuries.
Police say initial information indicates that at around 1.50pm, a vehicle was reversing into a carpark at a church along Main Street when it struck an 88-year-old woman.
“The vehicle then left the carpark. The 88-year-old woman sustained non-life threatening leg injuries and was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
Investigators are appealing for the owner of a light-coloured Toyota Aurion sedan, which was parked at the location earlier that afternoon, to come forward.
Anyone who recognise the vehicle or has further information about the incident is asked to contact police.
