A pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a truck in Emerald, Victoria, yesterday.
Police have been told the truck collided with the man on Lawsons Road at around 4.05pm on Wednesday afternoon.
“The pedestrian sadly died while being transported to hospital,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“He is yet to be formally identified.”
The driver of the truck, a 72-year-old Emerald man, was uninjured and remained at the scene, police said.
