Paramedics have come to the aid of a 58-year-old man who crashed while paragliding near Tamworth yesterday.
The man was paragliding at Mount Borah, north west of Tamworth yesterday when the accident happened around 2.40pm.
“A 58-year-old male sustained lower limb injuries when he made a heavy landing near the top of the mountain,” the Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew said.
“The patient was treated by NSWA paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team before he was flown to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.”
He is reportedly in a stable condition in hospital.
