NT tourism campaign to target Senior travellers

Tourism NT has launched a domestic marketing campaign to drive home a message to driving holiday makers: ‘It’s nothing like your normal road trip’.

The campaign will be active until the end of May and boost national radio, print and digital advertising across platforms including news.com, Escape, Traveller and Nine Digital.

It will primarily target the domestic 50+ travel market with a secondary focus on potential travellers aged 25-49.

“Whether you are driving through Central Australia or the Top End – a road trip in the Northern Territory is always different,” said Tourism and Hospitality Minister, Natasha Fyles.

“The Northern Territory is famous for its iconic landscapes, tropical waterways, local culture, history and wildlife,” she said.

“These assets are waiting to be discovered whether you are going for a short drive or a long road trip.”

Deals from companies including Expedia, Big 4, Nitmiluk Tours, Kakadu Tourism as well as car and motorhome companies will be highlighted in the campaign.
