Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 63-year-old woman missing from Sydney’s west.
Christine Lopes was last seen about 9.30am on Friday, January 15, when she attended an organisation on Church Street, Parramatta. She has not been seen or heard from since.
“She was reported missing to officers from Parramatta Police Area Command, who have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“Police and family have serious concerns for her welfare due to the disappearance being out of character.”
Christine is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin build, between 160cm and 170cm tall, with short dark hair. She was last seen wearing a black short sleeved shirt, grey tights, joggers and sunglasses. She was also carrying a black bag.
Police say Christine has a knee injury which affects her walking.
Anyone who may have seen Christine or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
