Griffith City Library is celebrating Seniors with two programs during the NSW Seniors Festival in April.
On Tuesday, April 20, the Library will host a reading of the classic novel The Secret Garden, followed by morning tea and then a screening of the classic 1949 movie of the same title.
On Thursday, April 22, the Library will also launch a new weekly seniors program, called Seniors Brain Strain.
Seniors Brain Strain will be a free weekly program held on Thursdays at 10:30am where Seniors can take part in brain-training activities like Sudoku, crosswords and colouring-in, with a cuppa thrown in.
Bookings for these events are essential and can be made by visiting wrl.eventbrite.com.au or by calling 6962 8300.
