New aged care home for Belmont

Private aged care provider, Arcare, is preparing to open a new residence in Belmont next week, promising state-of-the-art amenities and excellence in care for residents.

The development consists of 80 suites within two communities tailored to care needs – Ruby and Sapphire; names that both have strong connections to the region.

The residence will offer permanent care, using Arcare’s award-winning Dedicated Relationship model which places relationships between the residents, their family and team
members above all else.

Arcare CEO Colin Singh says, “Arcare’s commitment to quality builds and environments,
coupled with our Relationship-First approach, will once again deliver a world class residence
for the elders of the community who are ready to take their next step. We look forward to
welcoming our clients and their families to their new home.”

“We are excited to extend Arcare’s services in the Belmont community. This opportunity
allows us to not only provide a quality living environment to the aged, but also increased job opportunities and support to the local community,” he said.

The Arcare Belmont residence is designed with a coastal-style interior and is fitted with
100kw solar panels and built with materials such as steel frames, Hebel panels, water-
saving fixtures and insulation to assist with natural cooling and heating.

Residents will have access to their own ensuite and communal amenities such as a café, three courtyards, open activity rooms, hair salon, theatre, physiotherapy room, private dining room, community piano room and suites with courtyard or verandah access.

“Having lived in the region for on and off over the years, it was apparent that luxurious aged care would be welcomed in the area. I am thrilled to bring Arcare Aged Care’s great
reputation to this community,” said Residence Manager, Brooke Sherwood.

“I am looking forward to creating new connections with local healthcare providers, as well as welcoming new residents and their loved ones into our community.”
