A 59-year-old man has died after being thrown from his motorcycle in a crash on the Mid North Coast.
Police say that at about 3.30pm yesterday, emergency services were called to Wittings Road, Collombatti – about 32km north of Kempsey – after reports of a motorcycle crash.
Police were told the rider was found on the road. Sadly, he could not be revived and died at the scene.
Officers attached to the Mid North Coast Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
