A 72-year-old motorcyclist has died in a two vehicle crash in Leyburn.
Police say their initial investigations indicate that at around 3pm yesterday, a 4WD was travelling south on Toowoomba Karara Road.
“As the 4WD turned right into Stonehedge Road, it has collided with a motorcycle that was headed north on Toowoomba Karara Road,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The rider of the motorcycle, a 72-year-old Leyburn man, died at the scene.”
The driver of the 4WD was not physically injured in the incident. Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
