The Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal motorbike crash at Gladstone yesterday that claimed the life of a 52-year-old Tannum Sands man.
Police say their initial investigations indicate that at around 4:30pm, the Triumph Speed Triple motorbike was travelling along the Dawson Highway at Clinton before it entered a roundabout on Chapman Drive and crashed.
The rider of the motorbike sustained critical injuries and was transported to Gladstone Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or may have relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
