Queensland Police detectives have charged a 56-year-old man with multiple offences after allegedly seizing drugs, weapons and cash from a Mooroobool home on Wednesday.
Around 2pm police rom the Major and Organised Crime Squad executed a warrant at a Callum Road residence where they allegedly located a quantity of drugs including methylamphetamine, cocaine, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), and lysergic acid (LSD).
Police say they also seized drug utensils, two stun gun weapons and approximately $15,000 in cash.
A 56-year-old man was charged with three counts of possessing a dangerous drug (tetrahydrocannabinols, LSD and cannabis), two counts of possessing a dangerous drug exceeding schedule 3 (methylamphetamine and MDMA) along with one count each of possessing anything used in the commission of a crime (digital scales), possession of drug utensils, possession of property suspected of being proceeds of a drug offence and unlawful possession of a weapon.
The man is scheduled to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court on September 17.
