The body of a missing 87-year-old Rockdale man has been located in Sydney’s east.
The man was reported missing after he left an aged care facility at Rockdale at around 1pm on Tuesday 21 December and failed to return, NSW Police said in a statement this afternoon.
“Officers attached to St George Police Area Command commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.”
“Earlier today, the body of the missing man was located at Centennial Park,” Police said.
Initial inquiries suggest the man’s death is not suspicious. A report will now be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
