NSW Police have located the body of a 12-year-old girl reported missing from Wagga Wagga.
Police say the girl was last seen about 1.30pm yesterday in Mount Austin.
“Officers from Riverina Police District were notified of her disappearance after she failed to return home later that evening and commenced an investigation,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The girl’s body was discovered in bushland in the Willans Hill area about 9.30am today.
“Her death is not being treated as suspicious.”
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
“Police would to thank the public and media for their assistance,” NSW Police said.
