Queensland Police have located the man reported missing from Burrum Heads since Monday.
The 77-year-old was located alive in bushland in the Burrum River area by officers this morning.
A search and rescue operation was launched on Tuesday after the man was reported missing by family members.
At the time, he had been last seen between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on December 16th and had not been seen or heard from since.
Rural Fire Brigade, SES personnel and emergency services spent three four days searching around the Burrum Heads River and Riverview Drive area.
Local residents were urged to check their properties, structures, boats, cars, and trailers for signs of the man.
The man was extracted from bushland by Police, ADF and SES crew members and stretchered back to safety. He is now receiving medical treatment.
