A 62-year-old local man has died following a single vehicle crash at Mount Barney.
Investigations indicate that just before 4pm yesterday, the man was travelling on Seidenspinner Rd between Lower Portals Road and Barney Creek Vineyard when the station wagon left the roadway.
“The vehicle then collided with a tree causing it to overturn,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The 62-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Forensic Crash Unit investigations continue, with anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage asked to contact police.”
