NSW Police detectives are appealing for assistance to identify a man who they say may be able to assist with inquiries, following an alleged incident of sexual touching in Sydney’s Inner West yesterday.
Police have been told that at around 10.50am on Easter Monday, a 54-year-old man was allegedly inappropriately touched by an unknown man inside a shop on Parramatta Road in Glebe.
“Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“As inquiries continue, police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation.”
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 60s, about 170cm tall, and of large build. He was wearing a grey coat, black shorts and a dark blue bucket hat.
