A man has died and a 57-year-old woman has been injured in a head-on crash in Sydney’s north west overnight.
Emergency services were called to Grose Vale Road, Grose Vale, about 6.45pm last night, after reports a Lexus SUV and a BMW SUV had collided.
Police say the collision caused the Lexus to roll, ejecting the driver as it went.
The Lexus driver and sole occupant, a 32-year-old man, was treated by paramedics; however, he died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
The BMW driver and sole occupant, a 57-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Nepean Hospital. She has since been released.
Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared to the Coroner.
