A 58-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing at Lalor Park in Sydney yesterday.
Police say that at around 8.40pm on Monday, emergency services were called to a unit on Parkside Drive, Lalor Park, after reports a woman had been stabbed.
“On arrival officers from Blacktown Police Area Command found a 35-year-old woman suffering wounds to her face and arms, and a stab wound to her thigh,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“She was treated at the scene before being taken to Blacktown Hospital for further treatment.
“A man, aged 58, was arrested at the scene and taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.“
He was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court today.
