A 56-year-old man has been charged following an alleged stabbing incident at a Fortitude Valley apartment complex yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the Warry Street address around 1:30pm Tuesday following reports of a woman being stabbed.
“Upon arrival, a 59-year-old woman was located with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital for treatment,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“A 56-year-old man was arrested a short distance away and has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.”
He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
