Victoria Police detectives have charged a 63-year-old man over the sexual assault of a child in Reservoir earlier this month.
Investigators allege a man approached another male at the Regent Railway Station at about 4.50pm on Monday, November 2.
Police say explicit comments were made towards the victim before he was sexually assaulted by the man.
Police have arrested and charged a 63-year-old Preston man with sexual assault of a child 16.
He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on April 9 next year.
