Karratha Detectives have charged a 63-year-old man following reports of a man behaving inappropriately with children at a swimming pool in a caravan park on Rosemary Road in Baynton.
Police say that on Sunday, the man was at the pool and allegedly approached numerous families offering free swimming lessons to children. Officers were told he interacted with various children at the pool.
The man allegedly indecently assaulted an 11-year-old girl during this time.
The man from Wiluna was charged with Indecent Dealing of a Child Under 13 years and is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on October 16.
