An 86-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash in Kybong this morning.
Preliminary police inquiries indicate that just before 6am, a car travelling northbound on the Bruce Highway collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction.
“Police and emergency services attended however an 86-year-old Scarness man was pronounced deceased at the scene,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The driver of the truck, a 38-year-old man, was not seriously injured.”
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and appealing for anyone that may have dashcam of the vision to contact police.
