A 70-year-old man has been treated for head injuries after being trampled by a horse on a property west of Taree this morning.
Around 11am the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to attend the property at Kimbriki.
“A 70-year-old male has sustained head injuries as a result of being trampled by a horse on the property. He has been treated and stabilised by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to being airlifted to the JHH in a stable condition for further treatment,” the Westpac Rescue crew (pictured) said in a statement.
