Man, 58, killed in motorcycle crash

Major Crash Investigation Squad officers are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Beechboro yesterday afternoon.

Police say that at around 4pm on Tuesday, a Ford Ranger ute and a BMW motorcycle collided in the south bound lanes of Altone Road, between Amazon Drive and Benara Road.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 58-year-old man, died at the scene.  

The female driver of the Ford Ranger was not injured.

“Major Crash investigators wish to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Ford Ranger utility or the BMW motorcycle travelling in the area prior to the crash,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
