Victorian Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 58-year-old man following the shooting death of a man in Numurkah last night.
Police have charged the Caniambo man with one count of murder. He will face Shepparton Magistrates’ Court shortly.
“The charge follows an incident about 8.50pm on 5 August where a 55-year-old Numurkah man was fatally shot outside his property on Prentice Lane,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“Both parties are believed to be known to each other.”
