Police have arrested a 52-year-old Malvern man after a laser was allegedly pointed at a police helicopter overnight.
“Members of the Air Wing directed ground crews to an address in Royston Street, Malvern about 9.00pm after their aircraft was targeted,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“Units attended the address and the man was arrested and taken to a local police station for interview.”
He is expected to be summonsed for endangering the safe operation of an aircraft.
