A 50-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash at Jerseyville, on the state’s Mid North Coast.
Police say that at about 10.30pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to South West Rocks Road after a Suzuki Sierra reportedly crossed to the incorrect side before rolling.
The driver and sole occupant, a 50-year-old man, managed to free himself from the vehicle before being taken to Port Macquarie Hospital where he died a short time later.
Police from Mid North Coast Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
