Knitted with love for Tassie Mums

Residents at Mt St Vincent aged care home in Ulverstone have been busy knitting and sewing together hundreds of squares to make blankets to donate to a local Tasmanian charity called ‘Tassie Mums’.

Tassie Mums help to provide Tasmanian mothers, babies and children with essentials for a healthy life.

“Sending a massive virtual thank you to the residents and volunteers of Mt Vincent Nursing Home in Ulverstone who lovingly hand made these gorgeous bassinet blankets for us,” the charity said in a social media post.

“We know how special these will be for new babies and their families to receive.

Don’t those blankets look lovely and snuggly? Well done to everyone involved!
