Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Preston man, Thu, also known as Rico.
The 68-year-old was last seen in his room at an aged care facility in Preston at about 9.15pm last night.
“Police have concerns for his welfare as he has dementia and doesn’t have access to cash or a mobile phone,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“It is not known where he might be headed.
“An image of Rico has been released in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.”
Rico is described as approximately 165cm tall, with a thin build and is partially bald.
He was last seen wearing a camouflage cap, black knit jumper, grey tracksuit pants and black hiking boots.
“He was also wearing an orange bracelet and has a hospital tag on his wrist,” police said.
