Victoria Police have launched an appeal for public assistance to help locate a much-loved chihuahua stolen from an address in Bulla last week.
Police have been told a woman took the small dog from a small courtyard area at a property on Bulla Road around 8.15pm on February 28th.
“Murray is 18-months-old and is very friendly,” Victoria Police said.
Investigators believe they have identified a suspect, who is yet to be located, but say Murray is still missing.
He was last seen with the person of interest at a service station on Bulla Road in Bulla between 9.30-10.30pm before she left in a vehicle with the dog.
Police have released an image of Murray in the hope someone may know where he is.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, with footage or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or anonymously at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
