Free parking for Adelaide market shoppers

Visitors to Adelaide Central Market Authority will now receive two free hours parking on Tuesday mornings as part of a new incentive to draw crowds back to the market.

Starting today, UPark Central Market will be offering two hours free parking for shoppers every Tuesday morning, with entry before 9am, and with $30 or more spent at Adelaide Central Market stalls.

Adelaide Central Market General Manager Jodie Kannane said the ‘Two on Tuesday’ free parking offer on Tuesday mornings will make it even easier to shop at the Market and support local Traders.

“We understand that it has been a challenging few years for South Australians and by offering two hours fre parking on Tuesday mornings will make the Market even more accessible to shop your fresh produce for the week,” Jodie said.

“Our Traders are also offering super specials every Tuesday for customers to get even more value in their Market shop, including home staples like fruit and veg, chicken and ready made meals alongside the abundant fresh produce and specialty goods available each Market day.”

Some of the special offers available each Tuesday include: three whole chickens for $10 from O’Connell’s Meats, two 500ml yoghurts from local dairy producers Fleurieu Milk Co. and 2 for 1 on Lucia’s Fine Foods famous take home minestrone soup, just to name a few.

Two on Tuesday free parking is available when you enter UPark Central Market before 9am and exit before 11am on Tuesday mornings until 28 June 2022. To receive the offer, customers must validate parking at the Market Stall (Stall R17, next to Haigh’s on Gouger Street) prior to returning to their car.

Established in 1869, the Adelaide Central Market has been a thriving hub of food and culture for over 150 years.

With over 70 traders under one roof, the Adelaide Central Market is one of the largest undercover fresh produce markets in the southern hemisphere open Tuesday to Saturday. Visit: adelaidecentralmarket.com.au for more details.
