Police and emergency services were called to a fatal house fire in Monbulk this morning.
Officers say the fire started at the property on Monbulk-Olinda Road just after 4am.
“Sadly, a male’s body has been located inside the home,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“At this stage, the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed.”
Police say the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
