Dashcam sought over Mandurah assault

Mandurah Detectives are continuing their investigation into a serious assault in Greenfields that seriously injured a female driver.

Police say that at around 7pm on Tuesday September 15, a man threw a socket extender through the window of a vehicle on Murdoch Drive near Mississippi Drive.

The socket extender struck the 45-year-old woman driving a white Ford sedan.

Detectives believe there was a dispute involving two vehicles, near the vicinity of 65 Murdoch Drive around the time of the incident and believe they may be able to assist their investigation.

One of these vehicles is described as a silver/grey Holden Commodore sedan, possibly a VX (early 2000’s model) model.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a light skinned woman, in her 30s with a medium build, short mousey/blonde hair cut short at the back and sides, similar to an “undercut” style.

Mandurah Detectives would like to speak to the occupants of these vehicles to see if they can assist with enquiries.

Police have released an image of a 2001 Holden Commodore sedan (pictured).

Anyone with dash-cam footage or any information in relation to this incident are asked to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
