A cyclist in his 50s has been killed in a collision with a ute in Rokewood last night.
Investigators have been told the man was riding west along Rokewood-Skipton Road about 9.30pm when he collided with a white Toyota dual-cab ute, which was travelling in the same direction.
“The rider, believed to be a man in his 50s, died at the scene,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, is currently assisting police with their enquires.
“Investigators wish to speak to anyone who may have seen the cyclist or ute prior to the collision, or anyone who witnessed the incident, or with dashcam footage.”
