A 59-year-old man has died following a cycling crash on the state’s Central Coast yesterday.
Police say that at around 10am on Sunday, a man was riding with a group of cyclists along the Pacific Highway at Cheero Point, when his bike has struck the roadside railing.
“Traffic and Highway Patrol officers administered first aid; however, the 59-year-old man had suffered critical injuries and died at the scene,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“Officers from Brisbane Waters Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.”
A brief will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
