Cyclist, 54, dies after collision with bus

Perth Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal crash between a bus and cyclist yesterday that killed a 54-year-old man.

Police say that at about 4:10pm a bus was travelling north on Beaufort Street and entered the intersection of Newcastle Street.

At the same time a cyclist was also travelling north on Beaufort Street and entered the same intersection.

The bus and cyclist collided with each other. The cyclist, a 54-year-old man, died at the scene.

Major Crash Investigators are seeking CCTV, dash camera or mobile phone vision that shows the crash, or the moments leading up to the crash.
