Boy, 15, killed in motorbike crash

A 15-year-old boy has died following a single-vehicle motorbike crash in the state’s north yesterday.

Police say that at around 5:45pm on Monday, emergency services were called to Tucka Tucka Road, Boggabilla, after reports a motorcyclist had crashed into a road barrier.

The teenager was treated at the scene by paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service before being taken to Goondiwindi Hospital; however, he died en route to the hospital.

“Officers attached to the New England Police District established a crime scene and the circumstances surrounding the crash is being investigated,” NSW Police said.

“A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.”
