Boost for regional NSW intensive care ambos fleet

NSW Ambulance Commissioner Dominic Morgan, Deputy Premier John Barilaro and Minister for Health Brad Hazzard today announced that 69 brand new intensive care ambulances will be rolled out across the state.

Minister Hazzard said 50 of the 69 ambulances would be located in regional NSW Ambulance stations.

The latest additions mean there will now be more than 100 of these specialised ambulances across NSW.

The new vehicles carry cutting edge equipment with upgraded monitor defibrillators, video laryngoscopes and mechanical CPR devices.
