Queensland Police have discovered the body of a missing 67-year-old Kingaroy man during an extensive land search involving police and SES volunteers.
“Tragically, the 67-year-old man missing from Kingaroy has been found deceased. The media, public and SES volunteers are thanked for their assistance,” Police said in a statement.
Police had sought public assistance to help find the man, who went missing from his Kingaroy home last week
He had last been seen leaving a Kent street address around 3pm on last Wednesday in his vehicle, a silver 2011 Hyundai i45 sedan, which was found abandoned later that day near a cornfield on Logan Road in Wooroolin.
