Ku-ring-gai residents can enjoy free movies as part of a new initiative at Gordon Library during January and February – what a perfect spot to beat the summertime heat.
Between January 8th and February 12th, six movies will be shown in Gordon Library’s air-conditioned comfort. All movies are being screened at 2pm on Wednesdays.
The Midweek Movies timetable is listed below:
- What We Do in the Shadows, a delightfully spooky comedy that inspired the hit TV series will be shown on January 8th;
- Police Story, the timeless classic of Hong Kong action cinema will be shown on January 15th;
- Vita & Virginia, a glamorous cocktail of literature and romance will be shown on January 22nd;
- Ablaze, the true story of a pioneering Australian filmmaker will be shown on January 29th;
- Shayda, a poetic story of a mother’s courage will be shown on February 5th;
- The Quiet Girl, the heartwarming Irish tale about kindness and trust will be shown on February 12th.
Moviegoers will be treated to complimentary popcorn and all movie screenings are free. Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.
