A 62-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a domestic dispute in Ipswich.
Police say that at around 7.30pm on Friday night, officers responded to reports of a disturbance on Darling Street in Ipswich.
On arrival at the scene, police found a 37-year-old man who had suffered a serious knife wound to his stomach.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment to his injury.
A 62-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder (domestic violence offence) and will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
