Get connected at the 2025 Positive Ageing Expo

Hepburn Shire Council is asking the community to mark their calendars for the Positive Ageing Expo 2025.

After a successful event in 2024, the Expo is set to return with energy, inspiration, and community spirit on Tuesday 28 October from 10am to 3pm at The Mechanics Trentham.

This free, fully catered, 55+ community event celebrates healthy ageing and brings together people from all walks of life to connect, learn, and thrive.

From engaging presentations to live entertainment and interactive experiences, the 2025 Expo promises something for everyone.

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Brad Mitchell from Ulysses Motorcycle Club
  • Linda Black from Rebel Elders
  • Jackson Fyfe from Deakin University
  • Dean Mawby from Stronger Longer Gym
  • John Bradshaw from LiveUp
  • Central Highlands Rural Health
  • Live Music: Relax to the sounds of Hepburn Shire young people Arlo and Olive with acoustic tunes playing throughout the day.
  • Stalls and local Groups: Connect with Live Up and other local positive ageing groups, discover services, activities, and community support available in the region.
  • Free lunch: Come for the information, but stay for the food and activities.

Entry is free, and everyone is welcome, from older adults to families and carers, professionals in the sector, and anyone curious about how to age well.
