Police have released a CCTV image captured of missing 69-year-old Cleveland man, Anthony Roper, as the search for him enters its third day.
The image was taken on the evening of March 19, outside a Cleveland service station at the intersection of Princess and Bloomfield streets.
Anthony was wearing blue jeans, thongs and a shirt with dark stripes.
Police are focussing their search today in and around the Cleveland area including Beach Street, Fitzroy Street, Langdon Street and South Street, and are again urging local residents to check their properties, yards, sheds and areas surrounding their homes or businesses.
“Multiple police units, and up to 70 SES personnel and volunteers will continue to conduct searches throughout the day, which will also include door knocking local residents,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“Police and family hold concerns for his welfare, as he suffers from a medical condition and may be disorientated.”
Anthony is described as Caucasian, around 180cm tall, of a large build with blue eyes.
Anyone who has seen Anthony or has further information is urged to contact police.
