Police are re-appealing for public assistance in their search for a 78-year-old man missing from Sydney’s east.
Police say Robert Duncan was last seen at a home on Alison Road, Randwick, on Wednesday, April 14.
“He was reported missing to police on Monday, April 26, when the building manager discovered he hadn’t returned to his home,” NSW Police said in a statement today.
Serious concerns are held for his welfare as he has not accessed his bank accounts.
Eastern Beaches Police Area Command Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Rodney Pistola said his behaviour is out of character and is calling on anyone with information to come forward.
“We hope someone in the community may recognise Robert,” Det Insp Pistola said.
“Any information – no matter how small – could be the missing piece of the puzzle police need to locate him.”
Robert is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm (5ft4) tall, with a slim build and white hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured coat.
Anyone who sees Robert or believes they may know his whereabouts, is urged to contact investigators. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
