Sergeant Jennifer Choice marched with a bagpiped Guard of Honour out of Deniliquin Police Station today, after almost 39 years of proud service.
Sergeant Choice commenced duty with the NSW Police Force on the 5th of April 1982 as a trainee.
“During her career, she has worked at various locations, including metropolitan Sydney, Bathurst and in the Hunter Valley,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“She was promoted to her current rank of Sergeant in 2010 and transferred to Deniliquin, in the Murray River Police District.”
“While in Deniliquin, Sergeant Choice was an integral part of the team and was very well respected by her peers, team members and the community.
“With a career that has spanned across 38 ½ years of community and policing service to the people of NSW, it is not only a wonderful achievement, but something to be extremely proud of.
“Good luck and enjoy your retirement!”
