Snap up your tickets from Wednesday to experience football fever when the NRL Telstra Premiership comes to Rockhampton on August 21 and 28.
Tickets will go on sale atĀ 9am on Wednesday, AugustĀ 18 for the Round 23 game between Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks vs Wests Tigers, with tickets for the Round 24 game between St George Illawarra Dragons vs North Queensland Cowboys to be released the following week.
Rockhampton Region Mayor, Tony Williams said holding two NRL premiership rounds in Rockhampton would create history for the region.
āThis will be the first time an NRL premiership match will be held in Rockhampton, and with not one but two games being held at Browne Park it will create history for our region,ā Mayor Williams said.

Advance Rockhampton Executive Manager, Greg Bowden said two games coming to the region would certainly boost the local economy.
āWith local and visitors getting to Browne Park for the NRL games over the next two weekends our hospitality venues and our retail sector will receive a noticeable uplift in people traffic,ā Mr Bowden said.

The Round 23 game between the Sharks vs Tigers will be held at Rockhamptonās Browne Park on Saturday 21 August, kicking off at 3:00pm.
Tickets for the Round 23 Sharks vs Tigers match can be purchased via the Rockhampton Regional Council Facebook NRL Event page from 9am Wednesday 18 August.
The Round 24 game between the Dragons vs Cowboys will be held at Rockhamptonās Browne Park on Saturday 28 August, kicking off at 3:00pm.
Ticket details for the Round 24 Dragons vs Cowboys match will be released closer to the game.
Event capacity is 5,000 for each game with General Admission tickets ranging from $33-$55 and Allocated Seating tickets starting from $80.
