Officers from Ballarat Highway Patrol have impounded a vehicle after the driver was caught allegedly drink driving with his son in the car yesterday afternoon.
Police say the 58-year-old man was driving in a Sebastopol school zone when he was intercepted by police, just after 3.30pm on Wednesday.
“The Sebastopol man returned a positive evidentiary breath test of .186 and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1225,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
He is expected to be charged on summons with exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol while driving.
