Staff at Goodwin Aged Care’s Ainslie village in Canberra have come up with a fantastic new idea to brighten the lives and homes of its residents.
The village is now operating a flower library, where residents can choose a floral display of choice for their home, and then exchange if for a different one simply by checking the old one in, and the new one out at reception.
The flowers are supplied by Floral Image, a sustainable flower service that offers monthly rental of gorgeous lifelike floral arrangements – so there’s no allergies, no water upkeep and no maintenance.
